Eat the Rainbow 🌈 🌱
7-Day Plant Diversity Eating Challenge
Starting Monday 2nd March 2026
Are your health issues preventing you from living your best life?
Does low energy or mood swings affect your social life or your relationships?
Do you struggle with bloating, acid reflux, indigestion, irritable bowel syndrome, low energy,
low mood and/or joint pains?
It doesn't have to be this way!
We know from recent research that gut microbial diversity leads to good health outcomes,
and including a minimum of 30 DIFFERENT plant-based foods on a weekly basis
helps to feed and nourish this diversity,
(some sources suggest as many as 40 or 50 different forms of plant fibre a week).
Adding plant diversity increases fibre for the gut microbes to feed off which they then ferment into
anti-inflammatory short-chain fatty acids, that are so necessary for a healthy colonic environment.
Adding plant diversity also increases 'phytonutrients' or plant nutrients that supports a
healthy mood, energy levels, and balanced hormones.
Calm your gut
Reduce bloating and digestive symptoms,
increase energy, and improve mood

7-Day

Fill in your diary each day and count up your plant points and plant colours at the end of each day to ensure you're eating a rainbow 🌈 🌱
You only count one plant food once, e.g. onions will only be counted once, even if you're eating them every day.
However, red onions are counted as 1 point, as are brown onions or spring onions. So inluding a variety is key here.
